About Us

Amina Cooper, AMEWA’s principal advisor, is a curator, public arts consultant and public art policy strategist.  Amina has over 10 years of experience working with fine art and public art collections for leading municipalities, museums and galleries in Washington, DC and Boston, MA. She is a past member of the Americans for the Arts Public Art Advisory Network, and the North Carolina Public Art Endowment Sculpture Committee.

She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Howard University and a Master of Science degree in Arts Administration from Boston University.
